Aujourd’hui place à la jeune Ray BLK, valeur montante du R’n’B anglais. Dans My Hood, il est question de Catford, un quartier très difficile situé au sud-est de Londres, dans lequel a grandi la chanteuse. Un environnement à problèmes dans lequel émerge pourtant quelques rayons de lumière comme le dit si bien Ray BLK :
